Tamuning, Guam, (Wednesday, September 23, 2020) - While we as a community do our part to stop the spread and stay home, our frontline workers continue to make personal sacrifices so they can take care of our community.  They devote countless hours and put their health at risk to tend to our sick patients.

The biggest thing we can offer to them is gratitude. A simple act of kindness goes a long way, and we, as a community, can do great things when we come together.

Today, our GTA familia gives thanks to our frontline heroes by providing hot meals and giving them a bit of comfort during these trying times. ‘Teaming up for Guam’ is at the heart of our company. We are deeply rooted in Guam for over 60 years, withstood natural disasters, and now this pandemic and come back stronger with our community. With a small gesture of kindness, we want to send a message that our nurses and doctors are not forgotten and not alone in this fight.

We are also grateful for our small businesses that continue to work through the pandemic, even putting themselves at risk to feed families. To help our local businesses thrive, GTA partnered with Hafa Huli and A&L Food Trucks to provide the meals for our frontline workers every day for two weeks while sustaining them through this pandemic.

There is no doubt that we are all facing challenging times right now and remain resilient. If we do our part to stop the spread and continue to look out for each other, we will overcome this and come back even stronger.
