(Tamuning, Guam- Thursday, April 30, 2020)- Due to the uncertainty of COVID-19 and the economic impacts occurring as a result, GTA announced today that it is extending its commitment to keep island residents connected through June 30.

On March 17, the local telecom company announced it would not terminate residential and business customers due to non-pay and waive fees and disconnections through May 16.  To further extend the commitment to protect consumers during times of need, we are extending the time frame for bill payments to the end of June for customers.

GTA became the first and only carrier on Guam to join the Federal Communications Commission’s Keep Americans Connected Pledge to help ease the burden for residents and businesses financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Roland Certeza, President and CEO, says, “We recognize the economic circumstances families currently face due to the pandemic. To help ease the burden until federal stimulus dollars become available, we want to extend our relief offerings  to our customers. We recognize that having access to essential telecom services is necessary during times of need.”

To arrange to make partial payments, customers can contact GTA at 644-4482, visit us at our retail stores (GTA Experience Center, NEX, AAFES locations), or chat with us LIVE at www.gta.net.  To view FAQ’s, visit https://www.gta.net/coronavirus-covid-19-faqs/.
