(Tamuning, Guam) Friday, November 11, 2022- GTA expresses gratitude for our troops who pay the ultimate sacrifice and the veterans who once served in the armed forces. In partnership with the USO Guam, GTA remains committed to keeping service members connected to family, home, and country year-round, so no milestones are celebrated alone.
On Veteran’s Day, GTA and USO Guam released a short film saluting our nation’s heroes and showcasing all the work the USO does to support military service members, offering countless acts of caring, comfort, and support.
The longstanding partnership with GTA and USO spans 16 years, first standing up complete telecommunication services at USO Tumon Bay. Over the last several years, GTA has extended long-distance, high-speed internet and Digital TV services with the expansion of more USO centers at Andersen and Navy Bases.
In addition to supporting USO Guam, GTA continues to support other organizations and efforts, such as the Gold Star Families Memorial and recently received the Pro Patria Award from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) in recognition of the extraordinary support of employees who serve in the Guam Guard and Reserve.
