GTA Sponsors Geraldine Datuin's 'Half-Flower' Solo Art Exhibit

(Tamuning, Guam) Monday, January 16, 2023- GTA proudly supports local artists through its Village Mural Project and other initiatives promoting some of the island's most talented creative minds.

Today, Guam's longest telecom provider announces that it is a sponsor for a solo art show, 'HALF-FLOWER,' created by local artist Geraldine 'Gera' Datuin. The exhibit opened on January 7 at the Lees-Reyes Gallery in Tumon Sands Plaza.

Gera draws on themes focused on environmental resilience, cultural exploration, and island community preservation. She is a mixed media artist, mainly working with acrylic paint. Gera uses botanical and figurative paintings to untangle moments of resilience in modern-day colonies.

The show opens to the public until January 31, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
