GTA Honored as Best Cellphone Provider by Stars and Stripes Readers

(Tamuning, Guam) Wednesday, June 12, 2024- GTA, Guam's longest-serving telecommunications provider, is thrilled to announce that it has been voted Best Cellphone Provider by the readers of Stars and Stripes. This accolade reflects GTA's unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service and connectivity to its valued customers.

For the past 19 years, members of the military community have been giving their recommendations for the Pacific’s best of the best. On Tuesday, June 11, Marci A. Hoffman, Lt Col, USAF, Commander of the Stars and Stripes Pacific, presented the award to GTA at the Experience Center in Tamuning.

Commander Hoffman said, "Every year, we receive thousands of votes, and this year, they have spoken: GTA has won Best Cellphone Provider. This recognition comes from the very community GTA serves. It's significant because when people move in and out of the island, they can trust that what they read here is reputable, as it's their own community naming the best. I'm very pleased that you won this award, and I'm very happy for you."

Every year, Stars and Stripes tallies the votes and gathers opinions from military service members and their families, culminating in the highly anticipated Best of the Pacific magazine. This comprehensive guide is an invaluable resource, helping service members find the best places to shop, dine on and off base, discover reputable telecom and car dealers, and much more.
