GTA Hosts Back-to-School Drive for Erica's House

(Tamuning, Guam) Tuesday, July 2, 2024- GTA is proud to announce its upcoming Back-to-School Drive in support of Erica's House. The drive aims to gather essential school supplies for local children in need.

From now until July 31, GTA invites residents to participate by donating items such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, pencil bags, crayons, color pencils, child-safe scissors, folders, binders, and other basic school supplies. Donations can be dropped off at any of the following retail stores: GTA Experience Center in Tamuning, along with the Micronesia Mall, NEX, and AAFES locations.

"We are excited to launch this initiative to support Erica's House and ensure that every child has the tools they need to succeed in the upcoming school year," said Sharon Davis, VP of Community Engagement and External Affairs at GTA. "By coming together as a community, we can make a meaningful impact and help children start the school year prepared and confident."

The mission of Erica’s House is to provide a safe and fair venue; a center of hope, support, prevention, and family visitation services necessary to create positive change in the lives of all families affected by violence and contribute to the advancement and awareness of these issues in our island community. Erica's House is a joint project of Soroptimist International of the Marianas and Soroptimist International of Guam.
