(Tamuning, Guam) Friday, October 11, 2024- GTA continues to show its commitment to the community by assisting in school readiness efforts for the 2024-2025 school year. In collaboration with the Governor’s School Opening Readiness Team (SORT), GTA provided crucial support to help prepare Jose Rios Middle School and Inalåhan Middle School for the new academic year.
As part of this initiative, GTA donated both manpower and specialized equipment, including a lift, to assist with critical campus-wide repairs. The collaboration was part of a larger effort by the Guam Department of Education (GDOE) to ensure that schools were safe, functional, and ready to welcome students back.
GTA’s involvement in this project aligns with the company’s commitment to giving back to the community through its GTA Gives program, which focuses on education, technology, and youth empowerment. The company’s team worked alongside local government officials and GDOE representatives to tackle various maintenance tasks at both schools, ensuring that students and staff would have safe and well-maintained learning spaces.
The initiative at Jose Rios Middle School and Inalåhan Middle School saw teams handling everything from structural repairs to landscaping and equipment installation, made possible by the lift provided by GTA.
