(Tamuning, Guam) Friday, November 22, 2024 – The holiday season is a time for giving, and GTA is proud to announce the launch of its annual GTA Gives Holiday Campaign. This year, the campaign highlights a meaningful partnership with Special Olympics Guam through the “ROUND-UP” initiative, offering the community an easy and impactful way to make a difference while shopping at GTA retail stores.
From now until December 31, customers can “round up” their purchases to the nearest dollar or contribute an additional donation. Every dollar raised will directly benefit Special Olympics Guam, supporting their mission to empower athletes and create brighter futures through sports.
“This initiative is about coming together as a community to make a meaningful impact,” said Sharon Davis, Vice President of Community Engagement and External Affairs. “The holidays are the perfect time to share kindness, and we’re honored to support Special Olympics Guam in their mission to uplift these incredible athletes.”
Frank Florig, President and CEO of Special Olympics Guam, says, “Special Olympics Guam is honored to be chosen as the benefactor of GTA giving back to our community this holiday season. GTA over the years has given our organization free services and extend their employees as volunteers for our sporting events. From the Board of Director, our Volunteers, Coaches, Families and *Our Amazing Athletes*. Thank you for your support. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025.”
GTA invites everyone to join this season of giving by visiting any GTA retail store to participate in the ROUND-UP initiative.
