(Tamuning, Guam) Monday, November 17, 2025 — GTA is celebrating the holiday season with the launch of its GTA Gives Community Tote Bag, a limited-edition design created by local artist Novem Gimoto. Now through December 31, the tote is available at all GTA retail locations for $20, with all proceeds benefiting Guam Animals in Need (GAIN).
Each year, GTA collaborates with Guam artists to highlight local talent while supporting causes that uplift the island. This year’s tote reflects the values behind GTA Gives—creativity, community, and compassion—while helping raise funds for one of Guam’s most dedicated nonprofit organizations.
“We’re honored to support GAIN this year and help provide resources that directly impact the wellbeing of animals on our island,” said Michele Catahay Perez, Director of Community Relations at GTA. “This cause is especially meaningful because many of our GTA familia have adopted their furry friends through GAIN. Every tote purchased helps support their daily operations and ensures animals have a safe place to live. We’ve supported GAIN for nearly 15 years through our Empowered by GTA program, providing complimentary telecom services to keep their team connected, and this campaign is another way we can continue standing alongside the important work they do.”
GAIN, Guam’s only animal shelter, cares for thousands of animals each year through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption. Funds raised from the GTA Gives Community Tote will help support shelter operations, medical care, and essential supplies for animals in their care.
Totes are available at all GTA retail stores islandwide through the end of the year, and the community is encouraged to support the initiative by purchasing a bag or helping spread the word.
This effort is part of GTA Gives, the company’s philanthropic program focused on supporting local organizations, empowering communities, and creating meaningful partnerships across Guam.
