GTA Volunteers Support Special Olympics Track and Field Event

(DEDEDO, Guam) Monday, March 30, 2026 — GTA volunteers proudly supported the Special Olympics Track and Field Event held on Saturday, March 28 at the Okkodo High School Track, contributing to a day of celebration, inclusion, and athletic achievement.

Throughout the morning, GTA volunteers assisted with medal presentations at the softball and shot-put events, helping recognize the accomplishments of participating athletes. In addition, GTA donated cases of water to help keep athletes, coaches, and supporters hydrated during the event.

Special Olympics Guam is an Empowered by GTA partner, with GTA providing full telecommunications services to support its ongoing mission of empowering individuals with intellectual disabilities through sports.

This year also marks a significant milestone as Special Olympics Guam celebrates 50 years of service to the island community, continuing its legacy of promoting inclusion, confidence, and opportunity for all.
