GTA Announces Temporary Suspension of Technician Services Due to Super Typhoon Sinlaku

(Tamuning, Guam- Monday, April 13, 2026)- In light of the storm’s intensification from a tropical storm to Super Typhoon Sinlaku, and the possibility of Guam moving into Condition of Readiness (COR) 1 later today, GTA has temporarily suspended all technician services to ensure the safety of our employees and customers.

All scheduled service visits will be canceled and rescheduled at a later date. Technician services will resume once conditions improve and clearing operations are underway, with priority given to tickets submitted during the storm.

GTA retail stores and the call center remain closed today and will reopen once the all-clear is given.

We appreciate your understanding as we continue to monitor conditions and prioritize safety.

GTA will continue to keep the community updated on operations and service restoration through our Instagram and Facebook pages. Customers are encouraged to monitor local media, the U.S. National Weather Service, and Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defensefor official updates.
