Tamuning, Guam, Tuesday, November 29, 2022 – Each year, GTA Gives supports local charities through an annual holiday giving campaign. This year, the local telecom company chose Harvest House as its beneficiary.
Starting on Giving Tuesday, November 29, and through Friday, December 30, residents can purchase a special edition 'We Start with You' commemorative tote bag designed by local artist Austin Domingo. All proceeds will benefit Harvest House.
Nate Denight, Vice President of Marketing, says, "Our GTA Gives campaign is fueled by the generosity of our entire community. We invite our customers to give a gift that keeps on giving and join us in fostering a strong community where everyone prospers."
Harvest House is a ministry for foster children & families in Guam that provides for their physical needs, spiritual encouragement, and emotional support. There are more than 600 foster children in Guam, less than 90 registered foster families to care for them, and 30 children in shelters waiting for placement.
Bethany Taylor, Executive Director and Founder of Harvest House, "We are helping the foster family in their foster care journey from the moment of crisis call to the very end of reunification with their biological family or adoption. That foster care journey should be an as successful, sweet, and hopeful journey instead of everything in their past that named them. From abuse, abandonment, and neglect before. We're trying to give them a new season of life and hope."
Limited edition tote bags to benefit Harvest House are $10 each and can be purchased at any GTA retail location. GTA is also supporting Harvest House's annual Christmas Celebration for foster children by providing volunteers and sponsoring various activities for the kids.
