(Tamuning, Guam) Tuesday, November 28, 2022 – In the spirit of community and generosity, GTA Gives, the annual holiday giving campaign by Guam's longest serving telecom company, is proud to announce Mañe'lu as this year's beneficiary.
Starting on Giving Tuesday, November 28, through Friday, December 29, GTA is reintroducing its exclusive 'We Start with You' commemorative tote bag. Designed by local artist Austin Domingo, each bag is priced at $10, with all proceeds directed towards Mañe'lu, a local nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and empowering children and families for over two decades. Formerly known as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guam, Mañe'lu has expanded its services, hosting a variety of empowering programs for youth and support services for families.
Nate Denight, Vice President of Product and Marketing, says, "As a company deeply rooted in our community, we recognize the significance of giving back. With GTA Gives, our commitment extends far beyond the holiday season; it's a year-round pledge to turn each day into an opportunity for meaningful impact. Join us in supporting our giving campaign, where every tote bag purchase contributes to making a big difference in our community."
Daena Mansapit, Executive Director of Mañe'lu, emphasizes the importance of raising awareness, stating, "Our goal is to expand our services, and this awareness campaign will help us achieve that. The more people know about our organization, our daily efforts, and the impact we have on individuals and families, the more people will participate and help us grow."
The limited-edition tote bags benefiting Mañe'lu are available for purchase at any GTA retail location. For further information about Mañe'lu, visit HERE.
