GTA Supports University of Guam Triton Esports Team

(Tamuning, Guam) Monday, May 20, 2024— GTA, Guam's longest-serving telecom provider, proudly announces its continued sponsorship of the University of Guam Triton Esports team with an annual donation of $5,000. This partnership underscores GTA's commitment to higher education and its mission to keep the community connected.

"Their sponsorship and technological expertise not only empower our team to compete at the highest levels but also contribute significantly to the growth and enrichment of our entire university community."

For several years, GTA has sponsored the University of Guam Esports team, recognizing esports as vital to modern education and student engagement. This sponsorship provides financial support and essential technological resources for high-level competition.

In addition to sponsoring the UOG Esports team, GTA supported the Guam Esports Championship on May 18 at the Micronesia Mall. The event showcased the region's gaming talent and competitive spirit. GTA provided connectivity solutions, ensuring a seamless experience for participants.

Year-round, GTA also supports the University of Guam through various initiatives and causes via the UOG Endowment Foundation. By investing in education and providing advanced connectivity solutions, GTA aims to pave the way for a brighter, more connected future.
