(Tamuning, Guam) Thursday, January 4, 2023 – GTA is pleased to announce the comprehensive schedule for the 2024 Mobile Manåmko' Workshop Series, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to empowering Manåmko' or senior citizens with essential technology skills for navigating the digital landscape. The free workshops are open to individuals 60 years old or older.
The 2024 Mobile Manåmko' Workshop Series is geared towards providing seniors with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in utilizing modern technology, enabling them to stay connected with loved ones, access online resources, and enhance their overall quality of life. Tailored to meet the unique needs of the elderly community, the workshops will cover topics such as smartphone usage, online safety, video calls, and social media.
Facilitated by GTA Smart Center technicians and dedicated volunteers, participants can anticipate engaging sessions designed to instill confidence and proficiency in embracing technology in their daily lives.
The 2024 Mobile Manåmko' Workshop Series is set to kick off this month in Tamuning, with subsequent workshops scheduled at various Senior Centers throughout the year:
Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices, and those requiring assistance will receive personalized guidance from GTA experts.
