GTA Enhances Community Safety with New Fence Donation in Tamuning

(Tamuning, Guam) Friday, August 9, 2024 — GTA, Guam's longest-serving telecommunications provider, is pleased to announce its recent donation of a community fence in Tamuning at the TATUHA Peace Park. This initiative, made possible through a partnership with Mayor Louise Rivera, underscores GTA’s commitment to enhancing safety and fostering positive community relationships. The installed fence, strategically placed in a high-traffic area of Tamuning, aims to improve safety and security for local residents.

Mayor Louise Rivera expressed her gratitude for the company’s contributions saying, “I am very grateful to GTA for coming out and responding to our need. With all the wonderful gatherings we have here, especially for the children, which are always well attended, just having the fence gives us peace of mind. It keeps our children safe and prevents them from running out into the road. Again, it's peace of mind. It's all about bringing people together. I'm grateful to GTA for their wonderful partnership, allowing us to have this today."
