(Tamuning, Guam) Monday, January 27, 2025 – GTA is excited to welcome the Year of the Snake with traditional Lion Dance performances at its retail stores, continuing its longstanding partnership with the Chinese School of Guam. This annual celebration reflects GTA’s commitment to honoring cultural traditions and supporting the community.
The Year of the Snake, symbolizing wisdom, intuition, and transformation, will be marked by festive Lion Dance performances at the following locations:
📍 Friday, January 31 at 10:30 AM – GTA Experience Center in Tamuning (Landmark Center)
📍 Sunday, February 2 between 2–3 PM – GTA Micronesia Mall Store
A cherished Lunar New Year tradition, the Lion Dance is believed to bring good luck and prosperity. Through this partnership with the Chinese School of Guam, GTA continues to celebrate Guam’s rich cultural diversity and give back to the community.
Residents and visitors are invited to join in the festivities and enjoy the vibrant performances, which feature symbolic gestures meant to usher in blessings for the year ahead.
