(Tamuning Guam) Tuesday, Feburary 3, 2025 –GTA is proud to support local artist Joshua Barrigada as he presents his solo exhibition, Guam Bomb, in Koenji, Japan, from February 4–9, 2025. This bold collection celebrates Guam’s culture on the global art stage.

Joshua has left a lasting mark on Guam’s creative scene, including his Faith, Love, and Community mural in Mangilao through GTA’s Village Mural Project. As part of GTA Gives, the company is honored to support his journey.

"Art connects people and preserves culture. We’re thrilled to support Joshua Barrigada as he represents Guam internationally," said Michele Catahay Perez, GTA’s Director of Community Relations.

"‘Guam Bomb’ is about bringing our island’s energy, resilience, and creativity to the world. Having the support of my island, including organizations like GTA, helps amplify our voices and share our culture globally," said Joshua Barrigada.

Guam Bomb will be showcased at Blank Gallery, a hub for underground and contemporary art in Tokyo.

GTA’s ongoing commitment to the arts extends beyond this exhibition, with continued efforts to support creative projects and artists through partnerships, mural initiatives, and community events.
