Tamuning, Guam- Friday, April 21, 2020 - As The Guam Memorial Hospital Authority is the core Hospital on Guam that is caring for COVID-19 infected patients. GMHA sought assistance in efforts to help their patients in isolation to have ‘face to face’ communications with physicians and nursing care takers.
GTA provided 27 iPad Airs to GMHA to be utilized for patients in isolation to allow patient face to face communications with care providers.
“Thank you for the 27 each Tablets donation. This will certainly go a long way for GMHA to use the tablets for having COVID-19 Isolation Patients use the tablets to communicate via zoom or skype with their family members, with the GMH Medical and Nursing care staff, with Public Health pandemic survey staff, with GMH Pharmacy and Ancillary Staff for X-Rays, Labs, Dietary, Rehab, Respiratory, Special Services support staff direct telecommunications on their care,” states Vince Quichocho, Hospital Information Technology Administrator.
