(Tamuning, Guam) Monday, March 13, 2023- GTA proudly announces a series of workshops called 'Mobile Manåmko' specifically designed for senior citizens in Guam. The local telecom company hosted its first-ever tech workshop for the elderly in February, and due to the high demand to schedule more, GTA will host more workshops in 2023.
GTA recognizes the importance of technology in today's world and believes everyone should have the knowledge needed to navigate it. The workshops will cover various topics, including basic smartphone skills, email and social media, and online safety. Each session will be led by a knowledgeable Smart team member who will provide hands-on training and answer attendees' questions.
"We are excited to offer these workshops and hope they will be a valuable resource for Manåmko in our community," said Michele Catahay Perez, Sr. Community Relations Manager at GTA. "We believe that technology can connect people and enrich lives, and we want to help as many people as possible take advantage of it."
The workshops are free to attend and are open to Manåmko, ages 60 years and older. Due to limited space, interested participants must sign up early to reserve their spots. The form link is below. For more information, email prsquad@gta.net.
