(Tamuning, Guam) Wednesday, August 14, 2024- GTA is thrilled to announce the upcoming GLO & Connect - Teen Workshop Series, a transformative event dedicated to empowering high school students as they prepare for life beyond graduation. This FREE two-day workshop, set for Saturday, August 31st, and Sunday, September 1st at the Micronesia Mall (Concourse 3, First Floor Unit C109/C10 across Lin's Jewelry Store), offers an invaluable opportunity for teens to gain essential knowledge and skills that will set them on a path to success.
The GLO & Connect Youth Workshop Series is specifically designed to engage high school students through dynamic workshops led by industry experts. Participants will have the chance to attend both informative presentations and interactive breakout sessions, where they will explore key topics such as career foundations, financial literacy, and job readiness—critical skills for thriving in today's competitive world.
This series has been organized by GTA interns, showcasing the creativity, dedication, and leadership of our young talent. Their hard work and commitment to providing valuable learning experiences for their peers have been the driving force behind this initiative.

Since the inception of the GTA Youth Leader Program in 2019, GTA has been steadfast in its commitment to serving the youth of our community. The GLO & Connect - Teen Workshop Series is a pivotal part of this initiative, aiming to equip the next generation with the tools and knowledge they need to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead.
In conjunction with the workshop series, GTA will launch of the GTA Youth Leader Scholarship. Attendees of the GLO & Connect event who meet the qualifications will have the opportunity to apply for this scholarship, further supporting their educational and career aspirations.
